Islanders v.s. Sabres- Friday, October 16th

Well, how shall I put this....um....the game was very....SLOPPY. After going down 2-0 in the first period to a bankhand goal by the 6'8'' defender Tyler Myers and a penalty shot by Clarke MacArthur, the Islanders just did not have enough fire power to mount a comeback. The 2 goal lead soon grew to 3 after Tim Connolly shot a wrister which flew by Roloson about 4:46 into the second period. The Islanders' Matt Moulson had had enough when he scored later in the second period. However, the Sabres would score, yet again, off a slap-shot by Jochen Hecht, which went five-hole on the sluggish Roloson. Buffalo went on to win 6-3. The upside for the Islanders? John Tavares and Matt Moulson both scored their 3rd goal of the season which helps strengthen the great starting line of Moulson, Tavares, and Okposo. The New York Islanders are now 0-2-3 on the season.
